Please join us for this season’s Condors Strong dragonboat team for a one-day super fun day on the water at the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival held at Mooney’s Bay!
The race day is Saturday, June 20, 2026!
There will be 2 mandatory practices held at the Rideau Canoe Club in the few weeks prior to the event, likely on a weeknight evening – dates & times TBD.
•Team Captain Louise McGooey (Condor James’s mom) will email out the details for the practices and event day important information
•No prior experience is required and all equipment is provided! All you need is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and paddle hard, and of course, you must be comfortable in the water.
•Participants must be ages 12yrs of age and up. Condors players, family members and volunteers are welcome!
•Cost is $40 per person and we are guaranteed 2 races that day!
*After you have paid the entry fee, we will email you the ODBF official registration form and waiver which must be completed prior to the first practice.*
