Very sad news….

February 11, 2016February 12, 2016 admin

The Condors family wishes to extend our deepest sympathy to Dianne and the entire Buiting and Allen families at the tragic loss of Robbie (#10). Robbie passed away suddenly on Sunday evening, Feb. 7th at just 20 years old. We are all heart-broken and will dearly miss and forever remember the kind, fun, sports-loving, and incredibly artistic young man with the red hair and amazing smile. Robbie, you will be in our hearts always. Dianne, we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Update:
We had a beautiful memorial service for Robbie today. Thank-you to all who attended to show support to Dianne, the Buiting and Allen families, and the many others who knew and loved Robbie. Thanks to Robbie’s aunt, cousins, and Jim who all shared touching, loving tributes and memories. To the Capital City Condors players: for as long as I live, I will never forget the joy and pride I felt when you came out to form the most wonderful “Condors tunnel” I’ve ever seen for Robbie’s hearse as it drove away. Robbie taught us all some important lessons: Treat each other well, don’t be afraid to try new things, enjoy doing what you love, notice the beauty around you, and a smile and a high five go a long way in changing someone’s day. Rest in peace, dear Robbie, till we meet again….
