Condors Pres. Jim Perkins Wins Citizen of the Year!

February 25, 2012April 16, 2012 admin

Jim and Shana were extremely honoured to attend the Kanata Chamber of Commerce People’s Choice Awards banquet last night on behalf of the Condors! The Condors were finalists, amongst many other incredible nominees, in the category of “Non-Profit Organzation of the Year.” We wish all the nominees and the winner in that category, the Kanata Food Cupboard, continued success in their efforts to impact our communities for the betterment of all!
Jim also was extremely surprised when it was announced that he had won “Citizen of the Year!” The entire audience was completely encaptured by the story of the development of this team…but even more so by the opportunities that the Condors are having to impact the community at large.
Thanks to each and every volunteer without whom, this program would not exist! Thanks also to each and every Condors family for showing us what true team spirit is!
