Fundraising BBQ at Jack Charron Arena Sept 6 & 7!

Hey Condors:

I hope you all had a great summer. I can’t believe it’s September already…yikes!

The Glen Cairn Ladies Softball Sept. Tournament is this weekend…September 6th -7th.

We will be hosting the BBQ the same times as last year at the Jack Charron Arena…..Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. so I am hoping to get volunteers to man the various tables.

If you can spare a couple of hours, please let me know. I will need lots of volunteers to help out at the various tables…this is a great event for the new families to come mingle with the veterans! I also need someone with a van or pick up truck to pick up the BARBQ for the storage area before Saturday and return it on Sunday after…my boys are going camping with the van!

Also, the baking table went over really well last year, so if anyone can bake up some cupcakes, squares or cookies, please let me know so that I can make sure we have a full table to sell.
